One afternoon, at my local book club, a few of us sat and chatted about our experiences as readers. One thing was common amongst all of us, that as much as we loved reading great books, there’s nothing more exciting than finding a great book on sale.
Even though the love of reading obviously outweighs the cost of the books by a landslide, we also all agreed that it would be nice to have a place, a website that is showcasing what books that’s currently on sale. There, the birth of half priced books, also known as halfpricedbooks.net. As the name of the website would suggest, we will be dedicating our effort to find and list books that’s not only a great read, but you can purchase at a great price, in our case, the goal is to find books for less than half of the list price. We’ll do our best to only showcase only books that meets that requirement. This will sure be a challenge for all us, but we really look forward to compile and accumulative this list for readers all around.
We’re dividing half priced books into several sections, great buy books, a section dedicated to bring you best sellers, and other popular titles that’s at a 50% sale or more. This website will also have a discounted text books page, which will be used to dedicated to students of all ages. A new children’s favorite was added, and we will start this adventure off with the Junie B Jones collection. Lastly, we also plan on creating a section that will take input from any will contributors, where anyone can recommend a great book that matches our selection criteria.
